To fully meet the needs of our families, we added senior placement services to join our home care services. Each family is unique, so we take the time to sit down with them and pinpoint their situational needs. This conversation is very detailed, covering everything from their loved ones’ daily care needs to long-term finances. Then we narrow down their options for independent living, assisted living, skilled care or memory care to two or three choices and set up a tour. We do all the legwork in this complicated process, researching reviews and ratings. We act as your advocate and do not just pass your name onto senior care facilities who might bombard you with phone calls. After the move, we stay in touch for several months to make sure they are happy. Sometimes this referral service is precipitated in an emergency capacity and we are equipped to handle that, too.

We provide senior placement services well beyond the area we serve for home care services. Though we have countless connections with facilities in the major cities of Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati, we will go anywhere in the state to help our families navigate the complex arena of finding the most appropriate place and make the most informed decisions for their loved ones.

Benefits of Senior Placement

At no direct cost to the family (our fee is covered by senior living facilities) we do all the legwork, from researching places and reviewing their state certifications, to touring them. Budget is a significant consideration, and we help families look at their situation in an big-picture capacity. What looks like the best place in the short-term might not be beneficial in the long-term. We manage expectations and recommend a facility that can care for a loved one comfortably for the rest of their life.

Schedule Tours for Families

If a facility will allow it, we will go with you on the tours. We know what to look for, all the right questions to ask, and also are familiar with the staff and unique advantages of each facility.

Transition Guidance

The move into a new place can be stressful. We ease that by setting a move date, arranging for a company to help pack up a house if needed, set up an estate sale, and arrange for movers. To take any additional worry out of this situation, we also work with a network of invaluable resources you can trust, such as elder care lawyers and long-term care insurance providers.
